Different Types of Garden Turf

This isn’t something that many people consider when they’re buying their home, but it can have a continual and lasting impact on their feelings about their lawn. Some types of grass or lawn materials could have a more reliably good appearance; looking green and vibrant all year round, while others may turn darker under intense sunlight during the summer months. Still others could have a very fast growth period, which will in turn require regular maintenance and mowing every week in order to keep under control, while at the opposite end of the scale, lawn grass could grow very slowly and only need to be cut once in a while. Some may be able to endure through playful children and pets, while other may be totally brutalised by it. There are a lot of factors to consider.

The type that is largely underutilised throughout the UK is low maintenance varieties of lawn grass. These types of grass are ideal for holiday homes and rental properties, as they don’t depend upon regular maintenance in order to maintain an acceptable appearance. They are also a great option for those of us who have gotten tired with a weekly chore that they would like to cut back to a once every two month kind of thing.
